Potential sell lines

I have used these sell lines in my magazine successfully.

"20 latest Afro anthems"

I came up with this idea in order to show my audience that my magazine has all the latest hits as a member of my target audience mentioned in the video I uploaded on target audience research stated that she didn't know where to access the latest African songs. This just ensures that my audience knows the 'Vybzing' franchise is here for them.

"Has Ice Prince found his Princess"

Because music magazines are about entertainment I thought about adding gossip sell lines as every young person wants to keep up with the latest information not only on music but insight into the artists life. I have purposely left the sell line ambiguous with "princess" in order to attract the female audience particularly so they can find out who this secret girl is but also to give them a sense of hope as it could easily be one of Ice princess fans.

"Who is Fuse ODG'S million pound girl"
Similarly this links to the previous sell line as this is also about relationships which highly attract my audience to read as it is keeping up to date with all the latest gossip. This is also a satire as Fuse's latest song is named "Million Pound Girl". This is a great pun which helps promote Fuses music.

"The Queen; Cleo reveals her secret to success"

When coming up with the cover star sell line I thought alot about how it would combine with the picture. With my first cover photo it didn't really come together well because the picture didn't have much in common with the picture. When I took more pictures I told my model to pose in certain ways.
My cover picture instantly worked with the sell line as it created a pun due to the fact that my model has her hand over her mouth which indicates some sort of secret which is just waiting to be told and the line "Cleo reveals her secret to success" creates a pun.

"Ways to get a carnival started"

This is a sort of activity people can get involved in, in order to have a good time.
My music has been used in the world renowned events such as Nottinghill Carnival which my young, London target audience will be familiar with as it is a time when everyone gathers together for that lovely summers day to celebrate music.

Tina and the sound of Africa

I came up with this concept as Fuse ODG wears this snapback with the name 'TINA" on it and because my audience are familiar with this artist as he has been topping the uk charts recently, this would help create links between the artists.
